The walk we started is a loop that was estimated at 4:55, if it was done on foot.

We personally chose to turn this into a bike route because the first duration seemed too important!
On our two wheels, we have completed the course in 3 hours following the pace that our dogs offered.

It was a day of great sun, and despite the fact that we left early, it was hot for this kind of effort and in any case we did not want to push our loulous!

The course was punctuated with about 4 "drink breaks" and 1 picnic break! And multiple breaks "it's where we go ??": P
We drove on all types of terrain! We also went through dirt roads, grass paths, pebbles and small tarred roads.
With my VTC, it was sometimes limited, with the mountain bike Kenji, it went well!
If you undertake this course we advise you to be vigilant on the 3 points quoted below:

⚠️: 1) there are 2 passes on departmental: one of 300m, it is not the ideal one, but it is little frequented and in a few minutes it is finished.
A 2nd of 800m, not pleasant at all this one, nor reassuring: so we dismounted on this passage.

2) About 17kms in my opinion, we must do well at least half on the tar. As far as we are concerned, we prepare the legs of our dogs with Solipat (hardening and protective product) so no problem for our dogs, but for an unprepared dog it can hurt, especially if it is hot and more.

3) On the paths we saw several signs: "pay attention to the trapped area, keep your dog on a leash".
I do not know what is insinuated behind this, but ours remained attached, we did not want to have bad surprise! (Hunting area? ..)

Now, if we take a look at the landscape and attendance: there were very few people on the course.
We met about 2 walkers - 5 cyclists and ..a ton of cows! Hahaha We were quiet and that's cool 😎
Level of what surrounds us, these are plains landscapes, it is a very agricultural area.
Cattle fields and ponds are linked together with tree-lined paths that bypass the fields. It is either very yellow (wheat fields), very green (cornfields) or very brown (plowed fields). It's not my favorite, but once in a while it's nice. 🐮

=> We will try again this circuit in autumn! The color change can be interesting and we would like to find solutions to bypass the departmental. If you want to join the 2nd expedition ..

==> If you want to try this loop, it's here!
